Terms of Use and Community Rules

Effective July 15, 2026

These Terms govern use of Hidden Green. By creating an account or participating in the community, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create or upload community content.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 and meet the minimum digital-consent age in your country, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and do not impersonate another person. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

Community contributions

You keep ownership of content you create. By posting a green spot, photo, review, or other content, you grant Hidden Green a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, resize, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, moderate, and promote the Hidden Green service. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions required to post it.

Prohibited content and behavior

Do not post or engage in:

• illegal activity, child exploitation, sexually explicit content, or content that facilitates harm;
• threats, harassment, bullying, hate speech, discrimination, or targeted abuse;
• private personal information, doxxing, private-residence coordinates, or restricted and sensitive locations;
• content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
• spam, scams, impersonation, manipulated ratings, malicious files, or attempts to bypass security;
• false or dangerously misleading claims about access, safety, accessibility, facilities, or environmental conditions; or
• photos or descriptions unrelated to the green spot being documented.

Location and safety

Only share locations that visitors may lawfully access or observe. Hidden Green does not verify every location, route, facility, hazard, accessibility claim, or operating condition. Conditions can change. Users are responsible for following local laws, posted signs, property rules, weather guidance, and personal safety precautions.

Moderation, reports, and blocking

Users can report spots, reviews, and users, and can block users in the app. Hidden Green may review, restrict, remove, or preserve content; limit or terminate accounts; and cooperate with lawful authorities when reasonably necessary. Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent removal. Moderation decisions may be made without advance notice when needed to protect users or the service.

Google Maps

Hidden Green uses Google Maps. By using map features, you also agree to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy.

Service availability and liability

The service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by law, Hidden Green disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for user content, third-party conduct, inaccurate location information, or losses arising from visits to community-submitted places. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

Termination and changes

You may stop using Hidden Green or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, abuse, security risk, or legal requirements. We may update these Terms and will identify the effective date of the current version. Continued community participation after an update requires acceptance of the updated Terms.
